When hunters think of the Rocky mountain region, thoughts turn immediately to the world famous elk, mule deer, mountain goat, and sheep hunts the area has to offer. However, the area also offers some great opportunities to hunt whitetails, turkeys, and upland game. These diverse hunting opportunities, along with the excellent fly-fishing that’s also found here, make the Rocky mountain region a bucket list destination that every hunter should visit at least once. Here’s a list of hunting clubs to get your planning started.

Colorado

Bull Basin Guides and Outfitters
Location: Kremmling, Colorado

Description: Bull Basin’s owners, Dean and Susan Billington, strive to give their clients the “total outdoor experience.” Operating on both private and special permit public lands, Bull Basin consistently guides their clients to trophy animals. Comanche Wilderness Outfitters

Idaho

Bitteroot Outfitters

Butte Lodge of Idaho

Description: This private club offers over 29,000 acres of upland bird habitat, including a 4,000 acre shooting preserve. Flying B Ranch

Utah
